You are invited to join us for our Worship on Sunday at 9 am (we are socially distant and masks are encouraged) or online on Monday when our video is posted.
This Sunday we will be reading from:
Isaiah 5:1–7 (The vineyard of the Lord is judged.)
Philippians 3:4b–14 (Paul witnesses to the congregation at Philippi.)
Matthew 21:33–46 (The parable of the tenants in the vineyard)
We will be singing hymns/songs:
LSB 595 O Blessed Spring
LSB 544 O Love, How Deep
LSB 691 Fruitful Trees, the Spirit’s Sowing
The sermon on Sunday will look at the Isaiah text. We will talk about a vineyard that was created with much love, but it yields only wild grapes. So, God asks the question, “what shall I do?”. You might not like his answer. He will destroy the vineyard he created.
So, God’s people are considered the vineyard, and out of love, He plants you into His church. So we pray that through us, Christ can produce good grapes. And that can only happen when we are connected to the true vine.
