Sermon Preview:
There are some things you can just take to the bank. Meaning it is a sure thing as death and taxes. One sure thing is Jesus is coming back. And He is coming for your body. Another sure thing is He is going to resurrect your body and raise it from the dead.
One more thing is sure is He will judge the living and the dead.
What is unsure is when. So don’t fall asleep, but stay awake. How? Each day waiting with expectation confessing our faith by saying the Nicene Creed:
I look for(ward) the resurrection of the dead.
and the life of the world to come.
