Sermon Preview:
When it comes to seeing Jesus, what do you suppose you’d see? In today’s lesson you will meet Him as a shepherd, guiding, providing, feeding, protecting, caring for the flock. But do you see yourself as a sheep, hungry, straying, in danger? You may see Jesus as a king, ruling, powerful, controlling, with full authority to to punish or reward. But do you see yourself as a servant or subject of the king obeying his commands, responding to His every wish? Our message will dwell on these images from our lessons today, just to be sure we are not goats -cursed, or stray sheep – lost, or even rebellious subjects of the king.
