O God, Father, how I am torn and tossed by this and that sin and deterred from good works! Guard me dear Father, and help me. Let me not yield to evil and be overcome. Amen.

Almighty God, grant that we and all Christians may receive the holy sacrament saving by Your grace. Give us our daily bread that Christ may abide in us and we in Him, and that we may worthily bear the name Christians which we have received from Him. amen.

We commend to You heavenly Father, all who strive and work against many grievous anxieties. Strengthen those who will stand. Help raise once again those who have fallen. Amen.

Teach us dear Father, not to rely on or trust in our own good deeds or means, but to venture out on Your infinite mercy. Let us not despair because of our sinful life, but value Your mercy as higher, wider and stronger that all our life. Amen.

Dear Father, may we be delivered entirely from Satan's dominion. If it pleases You to leave us longer in this world of misery, grant us Your grace, that Your realm may begin and be increased in us, while the devil's dominion is destroyed. Amen.

O Father, let me not fall to the doing of my own will. Break my will more and more. Whatever happens, let not my will but Your will be done, for so it is in heaven. There is no self-will there. May that also be true on earth. Amen.

Lord, I am Your sin, You are my righteousness, therefore I am happy and peaceful. Your righteousness does not let me become or remain a sinner. Praise be to the Lord and true God of eternity. Amen.

Almighty and Eternal God, enable us to know and to praise Your dear Son as holy Simeon did, who took him in his arms, knew and confessed him; through Your own Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
